Ravenseye Garden

When we first moved to Cressbrook in 2000 there wasn't much of a garden. The side of the house was lawned and the steep slope that fell away behind the house was a rubble and weed-strewn wilderness from which, over the years we have hewn a beautiful garden. It is no doubt a challenging site but with some ingenuity and no small amount of blood, sweat and tears we have created something both unexpected and joyful. We continue to develop the site but from 2025 it will be open to the public as a part of the National Garden Scheme.

Our opening date for 2025 is 22nd June.

The lower garden is not ideal for those with limited mobility but there are places from which it can be viewed.

We will also offering refreshments via the village social club, which happens to be immedaitely next door to the garden.
